We tend to spend most of our day pushing and mainly moving forward activating our front muscles. To feel physically balanced we need to pull and utilize our back muscles which will help ease muscular discomfort from muscle imbalance. As we exercise our back we teach our posterior (and pulling muscles) to shorten and lengthen easing discomfort and feeling balanced.
